"Kindness begins with a kind thought", but how many of us really puts our kind thought into action? The founder of Giveinstead.sg, Shoken has been an inspiration, as this young man puts his kind thought of turning usual celebrations into charitable moments a reality.
It has been an awesome collaboration with Shoken and Giveinstead.sg. Despite his age, he demonstrates such professionalism in managing his online platform and planning his events. His accountability to every donation received has been evident in his efforts to understand the needs of the beneficiaries and his careful planning on the utilisation of funds. What warms the heart is not the amount raised for the beneficiaries, but the extra mile to provide what makes them smile.
Hope Giveinstead.sg continues to bring warmth in significant ways.

The recent event at St. John’s Home was a delightful success, bringing joy and companionship to our elderly residents. We were especially privileged to enjoy the heartwarming performance by Yonabaru Olive, who travelled all the way from Japan to Singapore to put up an excellent performance for us.
The fun continued with our residents’ favourite game of Bingo, where they won wonderful prizes. Every resident received a goodie bag of essential items specially prepared by Giveinstead.sg at the end of the event.
Thanks to your support, we are able to provide our residents with friendship, and a sense of belonging. Your partnership has empowered us to continue our mission of creating a loving and supportive Home for our elderly community.
We look forward to a continued collaboration with Giveinstead.sg as we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Shoken and Giveinstead.sg on this special occasion. It has been a privilege to partner with such an inspiring and dedicated organisation.
Despite being just 15 years old, Shoken has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep sense of compassion.
GiveInstead.sg has been an invaluable partner, actively engaged in and co-sponsoring various Lions Club projects, such as hot meal distributions, birthday celebration, Christmas project for elderlies at community centers; also taken the initiative to lead and organise meaningful projects, bringing fresh ideas and energy. A few standout moments include the Chinese New Year celebration at Thye Hua Kwan Home for the mentally impaired, a joyful movie screening of Kung Fu Panda for the Children's Kidney Centre, and most recently, hosting a group of 12 Japanese performers who brought joy to the residents of Saint John's Home for the Elderly through traditional music and classic tunes.
We are truly grateful for this partnership and look forward to continued collaborations, working together to make our community a better place for those in need. Happy 1st anniversary to GiveInstead.sg, and keep up the great work, wishing you many more fruitful years to come, Shoken. Your vision and efforts are making great impact!

The heart and vision behind Giveinstead.sg are truly remarkable. While Singapore is filled with generous people, Singaporean donors want to know exactly where their contributions are going, and Giveinstead.sg has made this process transparent and reassuring. The platform has been exceptional in transforming personal celebrations into charitable opportunities, allowing many to benefit from the kindness and selflessness of fundraisers. Thanks to Joanna's empathy and kindness, for example, the funds raised through her birthday event provided communal dining for 60 seniors over four weeks.
A special mention goes to Shoken, the founder of Giveinstead.sg. Despite his young age, Shoken has demonstrated exceptional maturity and professionalism in his communications and actions. I trust that Giveinstead.sg will continue to be a tremendous blessing to many more beneficiaries in our society.

Partnering with Giveinstead.sg has been an incredible experience for SHINE Children and Youth Services. Their dedication to making fundraising seamless and impactful has been evident throughout our partnership. Together, we successfully raised $8,126 across two fundraisers, which will significantly support the children, youth, and families we serve.
We are especially grateful to the founder of Giveinstead.sg, Shoken, who—despite only being in secondary school—is already driving positive change. His vision and commitment in creating a platform that connects charities and donors are truly inspiring, and remind us that no one is ever too young to make a difference.
The service offered by Giveinstead.sg streamlined the process, allowing us to focus on our work. We deeply value this partnership and look forward to future collaborations. We wholeheartedly recommend Giveinstead.sg to those seeking to make a meaningful difference.
