Founded in 2023, Giveinstead.sg is a non-profit initiative that helps people turn celebrations into opportunities for charitable giving.

We were born from a simple insight: many people want to give back, but time, effort, and uncertainty often get in the way. At the same time, birthdays and celebratory occasions already bring people together in a spirit of generosity. Giveinstead.sg was created to connect those moments with giving, making generosity simple, low-barrier and fuss-free, and helping turn goodwill into real and lasting impact.

We help people create fundraisers for birthdays, weddings, and special occasions, inviting friends and family to support causes close to their hearts instead of giving traditional gifts. A ground-up initiative registered with Giving.sg, we offer a free, fully volunteer-run concierge service, with every dollar raised going directly to your chosen charity.

Many of the causes supported through Giveinstead.sg address important social needs such as healthcare, eldercare, and youth development, where community support plays an important role alongside public systems. By making celebrations more meaningful, we help people give back to the community and support those who need it most.
