Sending Furano Graduates Forward with Pride and Hope

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Lunch to Celebrate a Milestone and a New Chapter

Graduation is an important milestone for most people, but for many children in Furano, this occasion usually slips by quietly without much acknowledgement. The children grow up in a close-knit community, surrounded by natural beauty, but have limited opportunities to step beyond their everyday world.

For many graduating primary school students, dining at a well-known hotel is a rare experience they may never have the chance to enjoy.

We are raising funds to host a lunch at the Shin Prince Hotel for all graduating student of Furano Primary School, to recognise their hard work, celebrate this milestone, and mark this important transition.

It’s our way of saying: you’ve worked hard, you matter, and your next step matters too.

Why This Matters

For many of these children, this will be their first time entering a hotel of this kind, sitting down for a hosted meal, and being welcomed as guests. While it may seem like a small experience, it is one that can leave a lasting impression and positively influence them well beyond the meal itself.

It shows them that their journey so far is worth celebrating, that there are people who believe in them, and that new opportunities and possibilities are open to them as they grow. It is an experience we hope they will remember as they move on to the next stage of school; a reminder that they are capable, supported, and they matter.
