Helping Kidney Patients Access Life-Saving Dialysis Treatments
For patients battling end-stage kidney failure, dialysis is not just a treatment—it’s their lifeline. End-stage kidney patients’ bodies are unable to remove waste and excess water naturally, so they rely on dialysis three times a week, with each session lasting four hours. This routine is exhausting and often makes it hard for them to work, adding financial stress to their struggles.
Dialysis costs over $25,000 a year—a huge amount that many low-income families and elderly patients simply can’t afford.
The Kidney Dialysis Foundation (KDF) is dedicated to ensuring no one is denied care due to financial difficulties. Thanks to generous donations, 80% of our patients do not pay out-of-pocket for their treatments, allowing them to focus on their health without the crushing burden of medical bills.
Beyond dialysis treatments, we also provide medications, transport for non-ambulatory patients, psychosocial support, and more to improve their quality of life.
With your help, we can continue to provide affordable dialysis, medications, and care to the 300 patients who depend on us. Together, we can give them hope and the support they need to live better lives.
