In celebration of Patrick’s milestone 50th birthday, his friends are coming together to contribute to a cause that is deeply meaningful to him: giving the children of Hope Children’s Home Orphanage Bali a football field. The aim is to raise USD $10,000 (S$13,100) to provide a safe and joyful space where these children can play, learn, and grow.

For many years, Patrick has been a frequent visitor to Bali, developing a special bond with the children and staff at Hope Children’s Home. Having witnessed the challenges the children face, Patrick knows how important it is for them to have an avenue for joy and self-expression. Football has been a lifelong passion for Patrick, and he believes in its power to build community, foster teamwork, and bring pure happiness.

For his 50th birthday, his friends came together to fundraise for the sponsorship of Noku Sports Field, a football pitch where the children can come together, have fun, and forge meaningful memories.

On Patrick’s actual birthday, we are organising a football tournament for the children of the orphanage. 20 children will take part, enjoying treats like pizza, nasi goreng, and ice cream, alongside fun and friendly competition. Each child will receive a special football shirt and shorts, and winners will be awarded trophies. It’s going to be an afternoon full of joy, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments for everyone involved.

Hope Children’s Home Orphanage is a non-profit dedicated to offering a safe haven for children affected by poverty, abandonment, and loss. Located in Bali, this orphanage provides shelter, education, and emotional support to vulnerable children. After enduring the devastation of a fire that destroyed much of the facility last August, the children are living in temporary shelters while their new home is under construction.
