Supporting Our Seniors: Wini’s 40th Birthday for SASCO

Dear Friends,

In an ageing society like Singapore, every senior deserves the opportunity to live their golden years with dignity, connection and care.

Many of us are already caring for, or will eventually care for an ageing parent. In recent years, watching my parents and relatives grow older has given me much to think about how we engage, care for and support our seniors.

My own parents have benefited greatly from SASCO’s active ageing programmes, and I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful it is for seniors to have a community that keeps them active and connected. Beyond active ageing programmes, SASCO also provides day care services, rehabilitation, dementia care, caregiver support, sheltered home services and more.

Seeing the impact of their work has led me to personally support SASCO through monthly donations for over a year.

As I turn 40 and begin a new decade of life this October, I would like to ask for your help in giving that same opportunity to more seniors and their families. I have set a fundraising goal of $4,000. If you would like to celebrate this milestone with me, I invite you to contribute whatever amount you can.

Together, let us support and honour a generation that has spent so much of their lives building the Singapore we call home today.

新加坡是个老龄化社会，每一位年长者都应该有机会在尊严、关爱和陪伴中安享晚年。

看着父母和亲人渐渐年长，我也越来越体会到一个充满支持与联结的社区，对长者和照顾他们的家人有多么重要。

我的父母经常参与SASCO的活跃乐龄活动，也从中受益良多。此外，SASCO 也为长者提供日间照护、康复治疗、失智症护理、看护者支持等服务。

过去的一年多，我已通过每月捐款支持他们的工作。

今年十月，我将迎来40岁的新篇章。我希望借这个机会为 SASCO 筹集 $4,000 的款项，帮助更多乐龄人士和他们的家庭。无论捐款金额多少，每一份心意都十分珍贵。
