Project Update: Hope Children’s Home & Noku Sports Field, Bali

Progress at Hope Children’s Home in Bali continues, with construction advancing steadily despite some delays caused by recent weather conditions.

The rebuilding of the orphanage following last year’s fire remains on track, bringing the children closer to a safe, permanent, and uplifting home. In parallel, work on the Noku Sports Field, funded through Patrick’s 50th birthday campaign on Giveinstead.sg, is nearing its final stages.

The main sports infrastructure is now in place. Remaining works include the installation of netting above the basketball hoops, line marking on the court, and other finishing touches. These final elements are expected to be completed once weather conditions allow.

Importantly, the field is already being actively used by the children. Even in its near-finished state, it has quickly become a much-loved space for daily play, energy, and connection. The children’s enthusiasm and enjoyment have been immediate and unmistakable.

Once completed in early 2026, the Noku Sports Field will provide a lasting space for sport, friendship, and joy, supporting both physical wellbeing and emotional recovery.

Thank you to everyone who supported Hope Children’s Home through Giveinstead.sg. Your generosity continues to create meaningful, visible impact for the children in Bali.
