Shoken Tsurumaru Featured on Mediacorp Channel 8’s Frontline

We are proud to share that Shoken Tsurumaru, founder of Giveinstead.sg, was recently featured on Mediacorp Channel 8’s flagship program Frontline. The segment showcased his efforts in creating Singapore’s first celebratory giving platform, where birthdays, weddings, and personal milestones are transformed into meaningful opportunities to support those in need.

Since its launch, Giveinstead.sg has raised over S$80,000, supported more than seventeen charities, and reached nearly four thousand beneficiaries across Singapore. The feature is a recognition of how youth-led, ground-up initiatives can reshape Singapore’s giving culture and inspire more people to make generosity a natural part of everyday life.
